Wedding
F.A.Q's
Q.
Do you shoot "photojournalistic" or traditional?
A. Both!.
This is one of the most frequent questions we hear. Before the ceremony (and
during) we are photographing events as they happen. We won't ever just shoot
the traditional formals, ceremony and call it quits. We are known for capturing
photos of aunt Marge kissing the ring bearer to peeking around the corner
and catching a timeless photo of Dad wiping the tear away from his little
girl. No two weddings are the same. Everything depends on what the bride
and groom want and to what type of wedding it is. Please let us know what
you are thinking and any ideas you may have. After all we are artists and
always looking to expand our creativity!
Q.
What about black & white or spot coloring?
A. When you receive your proofs you will most likely see some that are spot
colored or coverted to B&W. While looking through your proofs if you
find a photograph that you would like re-touched or spot colored, just let
us know. In most cases we will re-work the image and not charge you extra.
Q.
Do I get to keep my proofs?
A. Of course! Every one of our packages includes a proof workbook that is
yours to keep. All of your proofs will be available on-line as well.
Q.
How many proofs do we get?
A. As of Sept. 06 we are going to include more proofs then ever before. A
typical wedding will have a minimum of 150-200 proofs.
Q.
Do you have a time limit?
A. Not
really. Our services generally begin three hours before the ceremony and
extend to the beginning of the reception where we usually take the cutting
of the cake shot.
Q. How far do you travel?
A. We will travel up to 60 miles from Sioux Falls for no additional
charge. Anything over 60 miles, we charge the standard 40 cents
per mile both ways. Overnight charges may apply. Please contact us for an
exact quote.
Q. Will you allow other people to take pics during the formal
photo session before the ceremony?
A. If other people show up with their cameras and wish to take pictures,
we kindly ask that they wait until we are finished with our shots first.
Q. Do you use flash during the ceremony?
A. Absolutely not! Our equipment is capable of capturing photos in almost
every low light situtation.
Q. Do you shoot with film or digital?
A. As much as I like film, we shoot 100% digital now.
Q. How many photographers will be at our wedding?
A. In most cases there will be two photographers at every wedding.
